You've already been introduced to Sarah, our most recent Cork Collection bride. The inspiration for Sarah came from our own desire to make time for the simple things in life. And with the holiday hustle in full force, what better time to slow down, refocus, and embrace simplicity. That's why we're recapping one of our favorite moments from Sarah's simplicity and grace wedding this week on the blog: the bridal shower!
At the shower, Sarah and her closest friends and family gather around a wooden table set with railroad striped placemats, paper lace doilies, and ready-for-decorating gingerbread chapels from The Baker's Table. Before they begin, Sarah is a given an oatmeal full sash apron to wear for the day (and a gift to take home).
Frosting-filled pastry bags and glass jars full of sprinkles and candies fill the center of the table. In between decorating, the gals sip tea from oversized endearment mugs and snack on freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
Of course, it wouldn't be a bridal shower without gifts! Unwrapped gifts are set on antique barrels for Sarah to take home later. (Click on any of the images below to shop these gifts.)
Sarah's bridal shower is all about time well spent with those closest to her. Take a look at some of our other favorite details from the day:
