(Left) Fill-in invitations (hand write them or use a typewriter, like we did) set the tone and added a personal touch before the day of Clara's shower. (Right) A floral confetti push-pop wasplaced on each antique china place setting to welcome guests.
Assorted vases filled with pink roses and tulips lined the table where guests were seated. (The same floral arrangements that are used to decorate a space make great favors or prizes!) Cake plates displayed sprinkles and other toppings while each guest was given a small, plain cake upon arrival. As they sat around the table, Clara and her friends snacked on Sugarfina gummies and practiced cake piping techniques.
Rather than displaying the cake and gifts for the bride on a separate table, they were flawlessly incorporated into the decor. A croquembouche cake and gifts for the bride (wrapped in floral wrapping paper and cotton ribbon) were placed in the center of the table—the perfect focal point for this sweet shower!
